Overview
Dr. Dwelvin L. Simmons is currently the Clinical Director of the Orange Park Cancer Center Department of Radiation Oncology. His practice focuses on the multidisciplinary management of patients with various oncologic issues. His clinical interests include Head and Neck Cancer, Lung Cancer, Breast Cancer, Urologic and CNS malignancies. He has vast experience in low dose and high dose brachytherapy, radiosurgery, radiopharmaceutical administration as well as various technical procedures involving intra-operative administration of radiation. Dr. Simmons has participated in many clinical research projects and protocols, and has authored peer-reviewed publications. He participates and is a member in many national professional societies, including the American Society for Radiation Oncology, the American Board of Radiology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the Florida Medical Association. He is board-certified by the American Board of Radiology.
