Dr. Abu Shahin is trained in minimally invasive surgery and state-of-the-art robotic surgery for the treatment of gynecologic malignancies. He is also a pioneer in adopting single incision (scarless) laparoscopic surgery in Southwest Florida. His special interest and experience in basic and clinical research allows him to offer his patients access to current clinical trials emphasizing the most advanced treatment options and technologies. His background in palliative care allows a broader approach in fighting cancer while maintaining good quality of life and symptom control.
