Keith Miller speaks about lung cancer and early detection
Dr. Miller explains the importance of lung cancer screening. High-risk patients who wait until symptoms appear are often diagnosed at a later stage of the disease. In contrast, 60% of high-risk patients who undergo screening before symptoms develop are diagnosed at stage 1—the earliest stage of lung cancer. The preferred screening method is a low-dose CT scan, which helps detect lung cancer early in individuals with a significant smoking history. Watch the video to learn more.
